Getting Started

Adding the Overlay

Add the live score overlay to any streaming software that supports browser sources.

Find your overlay URL

Each board has a unique overlay URL. To find it:

  1. Open the board's Control Panel from the dashboard.
  2. Look for the Overlay URL field at the top of the page.
  3. Click the Copy button next to it.

OBS Studio

  1. In the Sources panel, click the + button and choose Browser.
  2. Give it a name (e.g. "Score Overlay") and click OK.
  3. Paste your overlay URL into the URL field.
  4. Set Width and Height to match your canvas (e.g. 1920 × 1080).
  5. Check Shutdown source when not visible — optional, but keeps resources light.
  6. Click OK. The overlay will appear in your scene.
  7. Position it at the bottom of the scene by dragging, or right-click → Transform → Edit Transform for pixel-perfect placement.

💡 Tip

Use a full 1920×1080 browser source and let OmniScores handle the positioning. This avoids any clipping or offset issues.

Streamlabs

  1. In your scene, click + to add a source and choose Browser Source.
  2. Paste the overlay URL.
  3. Set dimensions to 1920 × 1080 (or your stream resolution).
  4. Enable Background Color → set opacity to 0 so the background is transparent.
  5. Click Done.

PRISM Live Studio

  1. Add a Web Browser layer to your scene.
  2. Paste the overlay URL.
  3. Set size to match your output resolution.
  4. Enable Transparent Background.

ℹ️ Note

PRISM Live uses a Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) browser. OmniScores is fully optimised for CEF so the overlay anchors exactly to the bottom edge.

Troubleshooting

Overlay is not transparent

Make sure "transparent background" or similar is enabled in your streaming app's browser source settings.

Scores are not updating

The overlay uses a live connection. Check that your internet is active and try refreshing the browser source (OBS: right-click → Refresh).

Gap at the bottom

Use the full 1920×1080 canvas size and avoid scaling the source down — positioning is handled inside the overlay itself.

Wrong sport layout

Each board is locked to the sport chosen at creation. Create a new board for a different sport.
