OmniScores (operated by Omnivest Inc.) is committed to minimal data collection. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it across OmniScores.com and its services.

What Personal Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Email address — required to create an account, log in, and receive transactional emails (e.g. receipts, password resets).
  • Display name — optional. Used to personalize the dashboard.
  • Payment information — collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers.
  • IP addresses — logged transiently for security, fraud prevention, and service reliability.
  • Board content — team names, colors, logo URLs, and scores you enter while using the product. This data is associated with your account.

We do not collect analytics beyond what is needed for basic error monitoring. We do not run advertising and do not sell your data to any third party.

How We Use Your Data

  • To create and maintain your account.
  • To provide real-time score sync across your control panels and overlays.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, important service notices).
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
  • To debug errors and improve the reliability of the service.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Use of Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the service:

  • Session cookie — keeps you logged in during your browser session.
  • Auth token cookie — stores a secure, signed token used to authenticate your requests.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. No opt-in banner is required because we only use cookies that are essential for the service to function.

Third-Party Services (Sub-Processors)

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate OmniScores:

  • Neon (database) — stores your account data and board state. Data is hosted in the United States. Neon Privacy Policy
  • Upstash Redis — stores live board state for real-time overlay sync. Upstash Privacy Policy
  • Pusher — powers real-time connections between your control panel and overlay. Pusher Privacy Policy
  • Stripe — handles all payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy. Stripe Privacy Policy
  • Vercel — hosts the application. Request logs may be retained by Vercel for a limited period. Vercel Privacy Policy

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

Data Retention

Your account data and boards are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your Account settings, which will permanently remove all associated data from our systems. Boards that have been inactive for 2 years may be deleted automatically.

Stripe retains billing records independently as required by applicable law. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy for their retention practices.

Data Security

We implement standard security practices to protect your data:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS.
  • Passwords are hashed using a strong one-way algorithm — we never store plain-text passwords.
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • We rely on reputable cloud providers (Neon, Vercel) with their own security certifications and practices.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — update inaccurate information via your account settings.
  • Deletion — delete your account and all associated data from your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Portability — request an export of your data in a common format.

Children's Privacy

OmniScores is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes that affect your rights, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
